Press ⌘K and search every account and folder at once — senders, subjects, message text, attachment names. The index lives on your Mac, so results don't wait on a server and work offline.

Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Yahoo or any IMAP server in one unified inbox. A colour ring on each avatar shows which account a message belongs to, and every account keeps its own unread count.

Light, dark, or System — which follows your Mac and turns with it at sunset. Designed mail keeps its own light card either way, so a receipt or a newsletter still looks the way its sender built it.

When a sign-in code arrives, the notification shows it with a Copy Code button, so you never open the message. Magic sign-in links get Open Link, and a used code tidies itself into the archive.

bytemail checks who really sent a message, spots look-alike domains and brand impersonation, and asks before opening a link that goes somewhere other than it says. Report as Spam or Block Sender right from the warning.

On macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence, long threads get a short summary of what's asked of you, a few suggested replies, and Rewrite to shorten, soften or translate what you wrote. All of it runs on your Mac.

Every message waits a few seconds before it leaves — 5 to 30, or off. Press Undo or ⌘Z and the composer comes back with your text and attachments. Archive, trash and move can be undone too.

Tracking pixels are found and removed before a message is shown, even when you load images, and tracking codes are cleaned from the links you open.

An Unsubscribe button on every mailing list, using the standard one-click request where the sender supports it. Settings › Subscriptions lists every sender with a count, so the noisy ones are easy to spot.

Calendar invites show as a card with the time in your zone, location and guests. Accept, Maybe or Decline replies to the organizer, and Add to Calendar puts it in Apple Calendar.

Pick 1 day, 3 days, a week or a date when you send. If nobody answers by then, the conversation comes back to the top of your inbox. If they reply, the reminder quietly goes away.

Match on sender, subject, text, attachments or mailing list, then move, archive, mark read or trash. New mail is filed on the server before it reaches your inbox.
